Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the operating room across a range of surgical specialties including general, gynecological, laparoscopic, orthopedic, and urological procedures
• Coordinate and manage the surgical environment to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout each case
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to support seamless surgical workflow
• Document perioperative care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac experience preferred
• Experience with minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures
