Golf Cars of Houston is an established golf car dealership serving retail, commercial, and industrial customers. With operations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado, we specialize in new and used golf car sales, parts, service, and short-term and long-term rentals.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our Pasadena, Texas location.

Position Overview

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Pasadena branch, including sales growth, profitability, employee leadership, customer satisfaction, and daily operations.

We are seeking a hands-on leader who takes ownership of results, develops employees, builds customer relationships, and actively pursues new business opportunities.

The Pasadena market offers significant opportunities within the industrial and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will be expected to capitalize on these opportunities while maintaining a profitable and efficiently operated branch.

This is not simply a position managing the day-to-day operation of a store. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, grow a business, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Leadership & Management

• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable employees across sales, parts, service, rentals, and administration.
• Create a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment.
• Establish clear expectations and performance standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees.
• Maintain an active, hands-on presence throughout branch operations.
• Address operational and personnel challenges promptly and professionally.

Sales & Business Development

• Drive revenue and gross profit growth across all departments.
• Develop new commercial and industrial customer relationships throughout the Pasadena market.
• Identify sales and rental opportunities with industrial facilities, refineries, manufacturing operations, contractors, warehouses, and other businesses.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Participate in outside sales calls and customer visits.
• Grow existing customer relationships through additional sales, rentals, parts, and service opportunities.
• Establish and execute plans to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives.

Financial Accountability

• Take ownership of branch financial performance, including revenue, gross profit, expenses, and operating profitability.
• Review and understand monthly profit and loss statements.
• Manage payroll, operating expenses, and inventory costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute action plans when performance falls below expectations.
• Maintain profitability during seasonal business fluctuations.

Parts, Service & Rental Operations

• Oversee the performance and profitability of the parts and service departments.
• Monitor technician productivity, service turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure effective parts inventory management.
• Develop commercial fleet maintenance and service opportunities.
• Grow short-term and long-term rental revenue.
• Maintain accountability for rental fleet utilization, condition, and profitability.

Customer Service & Operational Excellence

• Maintain a high standard of customer service and responsiveness.
• Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, facility organization, and compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional branch environment.
• Protect company assets and ensure sound operating practices.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in a dealership, equipment rental, automotive, industrial equipment, retail, or related business.
• Proven ability to lead employees and manage daily operations.
• Demonstrated success in sales growth and customer relationship development.
• Experience managing financial performance, budgets, or P&L statements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance operational responsibilities with business development.
• Strong organizational skills and personal accountability.

Preferred

• Experience managing a multi-department operation involving sales, parts, and service.
• Background in commercial or industrial equipment sales.
• Experience with rental operations or fleet management.
• Familiarity with the Pasadena and greater Houston commercial market.
• Experience managing inventory and service department profitability.
