Regional Account Manager, AHUS/HSCT-TMA - Boston, MA

AstraZeneca seeks a Regional Account Manager to drive adoption of aHUS and HSCT-TMA therapies across a New England territory covering Boston, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. The role combines field sales execution, clinical education, and stakeholder engagement across academic centers, hospitals, and community institutions to support rare hematology and nephrology patients.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales objectives for aHUS and HSCT-TMA in assigned territory
• Develop and execute disease-specific account plans mapping stakeholders, patient journeys, and diagnostic workflows at priority sites
• Build clinical advocacy by establishing relationships with hematology, nephrology, transplant, and pharmacy stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, market access, and medical liaisons to resolve adoption barriers
• Educate account stakeholders on fulfillment processes, payer policies, and reimbursement frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years specialty pharma, rare disease sales, or complex institutional selling experience
• Knowledge of healthcare systems, reimbursement, and multi-stakeholder hospital decision-making
• Proven track record navigating formulary processes and influencing treatment adoption in health systems
• Strong ability to build relationships across clinical, administrative, pharmacy, and access stakeholders
• Capability to translate complex clinical data and map patient journeys to business objectives
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and AI-driven sales tools
