About This Role The Registered Nurse in Telemetry/Oncology at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management. Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions and continuity of care. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and/or oncology experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire ACLS, NIH certification preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
