Director, Thoracic Surgery - Physician - Valley Health System - New Jersey

Overview Valley Medical Group and The Valley Hospital seek an accomplished and visionary thoracic surgeon to serve as Director, Thoracic Surgery, at Valley‑Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care. The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence, including minimally invasive and robotic surgical skills, with compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to advancing the field through leadership, education, and clinical innovation in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities Lead the Thoracic Surgery department and direct patient care for lung, esophageal, mediastinal, and foregut diseases. Serve as a faculty member in Valley’s General Surgery Residency Program and Valley’s Advanced GI Fellowship Program. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of pulmonologists, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and critical‑care specialists. Participate in clinical trials for thoracic diseases.
