About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred, travel experience preferred License: State or compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry and managing a patient ratio of 1:6 - Familiarity with the Epic charting system - Prior charge experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in a medical/surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring cardiac telemetry, managing drips, and interpreting dysrhythmias. The nurse must be skilled in blood product administration, central line care, and post-operative management. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should possess strong assessment skills and the ability to use rapid response teams effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-flow nasal cannula and CPAP management. The ability to start and maintain IVs is also required. The nursing staff will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and pharmacy. Floating to units of equal acuity may be required.
