NTAEL Intake and Date Specialist Date Revised: 3/26/2025 Reports to: NTAELIntake and Data Supervisor Wage/Hour Status: Exempt Dept./School: Adult Education and Literacy Pay Family: Clerical/Paraprofessional PC Assignment: Specialist, NTAEL Lead Pay Grade: 05 PC Assignment Code: 76032 Minimum Salary: $20.15 per hour Insight: N/A Duty Days: 230 days per school year TIME: Full-time; 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM and or 11AM to 8:00PM but can vary occasionally with one-hour lunch. Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed. Program service hours 8am to 8pm Monday through Thursday. This position is grant-funded, and continuation is dependent upon program needs, satisfactory performance, and availability of grant funds. PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Lead Intake and Data Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our students, staff , and the overall program. This administrative support position encompasses a range of duties that adapt to the evolving needs of the program, including assisting the supervisor in training and managing Intake and Data staff . The primary objective of these responsibilities is to ensure the program delivers optimal services while maintaining compliance with program, district, and state requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associates degree preferred) Bilingual (Spanish) preferred EXPERIENCE: 1-year NTAEL Intake specialist preferred and/or Adult Education and Literacy experience SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Working knowledge of the Texas Educating Adults Management System (TEAMS). Excellent communication and computer skills, profi cient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and social media platforms. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, demonstrating a spirit of teamwork and commitment. Professionalism in approaching others, reacting well under pressure, treating others with respect and consideration, accepting responsibilities, and following through with commitments. Ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames. Ability to work in a busy environment with numerous interruptions. Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure desired outcomes. Willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings.
