As a vital member of the community management team, the Seasonal Grounds Keeper is responsible for ensuring that the property's exterior spaces are aesthetically pleasing, safe, and well-maintained, thereby contributing to the overall satisfaction and well-being of the residents and visitors.Please note this is a seasonal position and will end at the end of summer.Benefits as a Seasonal Maintenance / Groundskeeper:Competitive starting pay of $16.50 hourPart-time seasonal flexible work schedule 25-30 hours per weekPotential bonus opportunities401(k) planWork/home life balanceOpportunities for career advancementCompany perks programGeneral responsibilities as a seasonal maintenance/groundskeeper:Primarily responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property; upkeep of community grounds and common areas, creating and maintaining curb appealManaging watering system to optimize turf conditionsEdging, blowing, mowing and snow blowingResponsible for the maintenance of manufactured homes and preparing them to be marketedBlocking, leveling, setting and connecting utilities (excluding live wires or those required by a licensed professional)Patrol community and physical site inspections while maintaining relationships with residentsPainting, general carpentry, light electrical and plumbing; unclogging drains, HVAC repair/replacement and minor roof repairsA general knowledge of site management that includes customer service skills and daily operational knowledge is requiredRehabbing of onsite or incoming homesAnd additional items as neededSkills required for a seasonal maintenance/groundskeeper:Possess a valid driver's licensePossess a high school diploma or GEDBe proficient in the use of a computerBe able to deal with conflict and handle in a professional and calm mannerBe able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsBe able to bend over easily in order to repair main water lines and read metersBe able to read and understand documents including user instructions, policy manual, checklists, and rental leases or other legal formsSuccessfully complete background checkDisclosures:We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
