Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Pontiac, MI. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,925–$2,087 per week with a 36-hour guaranteed schedule. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) in a hospital setting. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring across acuity levels
• Administer medications, IVs, and therapies; monitor responses and adverse effects
• Assist with resuscitation, stabilization, and rapid assessment of acute illness or injury
• Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient flow and dispositions
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy while ensuring quality standards are met

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN ED experience
• TNCC certification required (ENPC not accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Ability to work 6:00 PM–6:00 AM night shifts in a fast-paced ED
• Available for a 13-week travel assignment with 36-hour guaranteed schedule
