Daycare Aide

General Summary Kid’s Club Attendant ensures that the Kid’s Club delivers a safe and positive member experience. The role delivers the ultimate customer service experience, contributes to running a clean, friendly, well‑maintained club, and complies with time, dress code, and safety policies. The attendant provides a safe, fun, interactive environment for children. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide child care to children, including paging parent/guardian when necessary to assist with discipline issues and attend to personal needs. Participate and entertain children with games or other approved activities. Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy. Project a positive, friendly, and caring attitude while interacting with children and their parents. Maintain the Kid’s Club area clean and maintain according to set standards. Check that all toys and objects are clean and safe. Ensure the safety of children and follow all safety procedures. Report all member complaints and incidents to the Kid’s Club Supervisor/Lead or Operations Manager. Report child health concerns to the Supervisor/Lead or Operations Manager so a Health Alert may be posted if required. Verify parents receive copies of the Kid’s Club policies. Confirm members have paid for the service and retain receipts identifying membership type. Ensure parent or guardian signs the Kids Club Agreement and emergency information card at the register. Record individual check‑ins on the Kid’s Club Agreement/Information Card. Ensure parent/guardian completes and signs the Kid’s Club Register when checking in and out children. Ensure proper payment is received for the use of Kid’s Club. Organization Relationships Reports to the Kid’s Club Supervisor, Kids Club Lead, Operations Manager or the General Manager. The position may interact with all levels of management and staff within the clubs and within the Kids Club Team. Required Qualifications Experience working with children. Patience in dealing with children and customers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Energetic and friendly. Adherence to meal and rest break periods; must clock in and out for all shift times. Minimum Certifications / Educational Level High School Diploma or GED required. Current CPR/AED certification required. Trust Line certified. State‑specific certifications required (see manager for details). LiveScan clearance.
