Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, providing clear explanations and reassurance
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Keep precise records of procedures and manage patient documentation through our electronic medical system
• Remain updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and skilled in effective patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
