Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Join our dynamic Cardiac Telemetry unit, where you will provide high-quality patient care for individuals recovering from various cardiac issues. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team that values collaboration and teamwork.

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions post-heart catheterization, including CHF and COPD patients.
• Read cardiac strips and administer medications as necessary, including titration of Heparin.
• Perform patient admissions and discharges actively, ensuring thorough documentation and care transitions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Support Nursing Assistants with basic patient care, if required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in reading cardiac strips and managing telemetry patients.
• Comfortable with titrating Heparin and managing medical drips.
