Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained search firm, has been engaged by NJR Construction to conduct a search for a Project Manager .

As NJR continues to scale its presence in the Raleigh, NC area, the company is seeking a Project Manager who can take ownership of multiple drywall and Division 9 projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, an organized and proactive leader, and someone who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment with significant career advancement potential.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial drywall, framing, acoustical ceiling, and related Division 9 projects from project award through completion.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, procurement logs, and overall project execution strategies.

· Serve as the primary point of communication for project stakeholders, including general contractors, subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams.

· Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

· Oversee project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

· Manage and supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring alignment on productivity, sequencing, and quality expectations.

· Identify project issues, delays, or risks early; collaborate with the field and operations teams to develop and implement solutions.

· Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor schedule adherence, safety, manpower, and workmanship.

· Review costs, track production, and ensure project profitability targets are met.

· Lead project closeout, including punch list completion, O&M documentation, and turnover deliverables.

· Participate in internal project reviews and provide feedback to estimating on productivity, pricing, and lessons learned.

 

Skills and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 5+ years of experience in Construction

· Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, sequencing, and best practices.

· Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage diverse project stakeholders.

· Proven leadership ability with experience managing field teams and subcontractors.

· Proficiency with project management and document control software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize deadlines effectively.

· Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
