Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to residential and/or commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards Test HVAC systems for proper operation and performance Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, recommendations, and costs Maintain accurate service records and documentation Respond to emergency service calls as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role EPA Section 608 Certification (required) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions Preferred Skills: Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills Strong customer service and communication abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management and organizational skills Work Environment: Work performed in residential, commercial, and industrial settings May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and mechanical hazards Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Ongoing training and career development opportunitiesaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
