Production Specialist
Location: Belmont, New Hampshire
Pay: $15.25 - $17.00 (D.O.E)
Job Summary
The Production Specialist works under the direction of store management to maintain efficient store operations. Provides outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, safe work environment. Selects great quality merchandise from donations to stock the sales floor. The Production Specialist creates a positive employee and customer experience by consistently exhibiting citizenship behaviors and supporting Goodwill's mission.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Essential duties include the following:
- Sorts inspects, and stocks donated goods
- Optimizes the value of donations
- Meets minimum Units Per Hour (UPH) and production effectiveness expectations
- Responsible for exercising due care in the performance of job tasks.
- Must follow Agency safety policies and procedures established within respective departments.
- Exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally, and/or up-to 50lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to display a positive, friendly attitude to maintain a positive work environment
- Mathematical and literacy skills to support job duties
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A criminal background check that meets agency standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Light manufacturing, Donation, warehouse work experience, or certification
- Prior thrift or used goods Donation experience
- High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent
