Registered Nurse, ICU - per diem

Responsibilities Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population. Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure. Develops and coordinates an individual plan of care including discharge planning. Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level. Required Qualifications License/Certification/Education: Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration. BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is required for every RN within 30 days of hire. ACLS through AHA required in selected areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner. PALS through AHA required in selected areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner. NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in selected areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering, whichever is sooner. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred. Experience/Skills: Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing. All responsibilities are essential job functions. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Benefits Hiring Range: $37.75 - $79.52. Final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Schedule: Night Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America). All shifts possible.
