Senior Software Systems Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Senior Software Systems Engineer with experience in Telecom Industry. This is an 11+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Irving, TX.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Master's degree with 7+ years of professional experience working in building Data Warehouse Applications.
• 7+ years of development experience with a minimum of 5 years in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
• 7+ years of strong experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and deployment of ETL jobs.
• 7+ years of strong experience using TERADATA.
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting (Ksh/Csh).
• 5+ years of Informatics Power Center 9.x/8.x/7.x/6.x experience.
• 7+ Experience in complete life cycle implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• 5+ Microsoft SQL server, Analysis Services (Cubes), Integration Services & reporting services experience.
• Good understanding of Ralph Kimball Data Warehouse methodologies and knowledge on the various data design models like Star schema and Snowflake models.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of development process.
• Experience in Teradata development and performance tuning related to large data volume Desired/Nice to have Skill set (in addition to the Required Sill Set mentioned above).
• Working experience in Telecom Data Warehouse.
• Working experience with scheduling tools like Approx., Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
• Working experience with Tableau.
