Position Overview
Moran Blue Water Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing A/C and automotive service team. We are looking for an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality repairs, exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
This position offers a stable 5-day work week with no Saturdays or Sundays , competitive benefits, paid vacation, and opportunities for career growth within a respected dealership organization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive air conditioning systems and related components.
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and HVAC-related issues.
- Complete repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and repair tools effectively.
- Accurately document repair orders, inspections, and recommendations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with automotive technology and manufacturer training requirements.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive A/C systems strongly preferred.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a service shop environment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to perform vehicle inspections and repairs in a fast-paced environment.
