We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven, dedicated, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.Position Summary: The Medical Assistant will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dermatology experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.Job DescriptionRoom patients and prepare them for examinationObtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaintsAssist physicians and providers with examinations and proceduresPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and suppliesPerform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training)Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic proceduresProvide patient education and relay provider instructionsProcess prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requestsSupport scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentationMaintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam roomsDeliver exceptional customer service to patients and team membersJob Type:Part-time: Tuesday-Thursday, 7:45am-4:45pmQualificationsBilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)High school diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant certification preferred)Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferredDermatology experience highly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learnWe are looking for someone who is:Driven and proactiveDedicated and dependableEager to learn and grow within dermatologyTeam-oriented and adaptableCompassionate and patient-focusedProfessional in both appearance and communicationAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
