QA/QC Assistant

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring a QA/QC Assistant to support quality control operations for a growing construction and engineering services company supporting high‑tech semiconductor projects in North Phoenix, AZ. This role will support on‑site inspections, documentation, quality verification, and coordination with project teams to ensure work meets project specifications, client requirements, and safety standards. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented QA/QC professional with construction, engineering, MEP, semiconductor, or industrial project experience who is comfortable working in active field environments. Position: QA/QC Assistant Location: North Phoenix, AZ | On‑Site Type: Full‑Time | Direct Hire Pay Range: $60,000–$70,000 DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full‑Time, subject to project needs Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities Perform QA/QC inspections for construction, MEP, piping, welding, equipment installation, and field activities. Review work against project drawings, specifications, standards, and client requirements. Identify quality issues, non‑conforming work, and potential rework risks. Support corrective action follow‑up and verify completion of quality‑related items. Maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality logs, punch lists, and related documentation. Coordinate with project managers, field engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives. Assist with walkdowns, audits, material checks, installation verification, and turnover documentation. Help ensure project work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations. Participate in site meetings and provide quality‑related updates as needed. Perform additional QA/QC support duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of QA/QC, field engineering, construction inspection, or related experience preferred. Experience in semiconductor, MEP, industrial construction, piping, welding, or high‑tech facility projects preferred. Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and project documentation. Strong documentation, reporting, and follow‑up skills. Comfortable working full‑time on active construction project sites. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to identify quality issues early. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred. Mandarin‑English bilingual ability is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr HotFoot Recruiters
