As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you'll serve a diverse caseload of students aged 3-21, ensuring access to essential school-based therapy. This rewarding contract role balances your commitment to student success with a structured workweek—37.5 hours, Monday through Friday—starting August 11, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027.

What you'll bring:

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Recent, relevant experience in school settings or strong pediatric background
• Confidence handling a primarily consultative caseload (approx. 70 students, with 30-40 direct service)
• Strong documentation skills (SHARES and Onward software; Excel IEP log maintenance)
• Ability to work independently—no COTA support provided
• Reliable transportation for travel within your assigned zone (6-7 schools, locations based on your ZIP code)
• Clear background check and state fingerprinting (district requirement)

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and participate in ARD meetings
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students on a rotating schedule
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all interventions and IEPs
• Serve as the lead OT for your assigned zone, with full autonomy over your caseload management
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster each student's progress

Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule (most days 8:00–4:00; occasional 7:30–3:30 starts) and supportive infrastructure, including a district office as your “home base” when not traveling among campuses in your designated area.
