About the Position

This is not a passive, paper-pushing position. This role is for an attorney who wants to litigate, strategize, and win.

You will handle a full caseload of Florida family law matters , including:

• Divorce (contested and uncontested)
• Child custody / timesharing disputes
• Child support and alimony
• Paternity actions
• Modifications and enforcement actions
• Domestic violence injunctions
• High-conflict and high-asset cases

You will work directly with clients, draft pleadings and motions, attend hearings, and collaborate with a team that prioritizes efficiency, preparation, and strong courtroom presence .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Develop case strategy and litigation plans
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Prepare clients for hearings, mediation, and trial
• Work closely with paralegals and intake team to move cases forward efficiently
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and organization

What We are Looking For

Licensed to practice law in Florida (required)

2–7+ years of experience (family law preferred)

• Confident in the courtroom or eager to build trial skills quickly
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple active cases
• A strong writer with attention to detail
• Professional, assertive, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable handling high-conflict cases and difficult personalities
• Motivated to grow within a performance-driven firm

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in Florida family law litigation
• Trial experience or evidentiary hearing experience
• Familiarity with local courts in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Brevard Counties
• Experience with Clio or similar case management systems

Compensation

• Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
• Bonus structure tied to performance
• Additional incentives for productivity and case outcomes
• Pay: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

Location

This position is based in the heart of Downtown Stuart, Florida , serving clients across the Treasure Coast and South Florida . In-office presence is preferred.
