Senior Financial Data AnalystCountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to help grow our Finance Department. This in-person role located in our Plano, TX office will focus on data modeling, pricing models, and risk management offering an exciting opportunity to work within a high-impact environment. Working closely with stakeholders to enhance reporting, optimize business processes, and contribute valuable insights to improve strategies, manage risk, and maximize profitability.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead data modeling for investor transactions and due diligence activities for bulk and flow agreements, servicing transfers, approvals, renewals, and capital market transactions while ensuring timely execution and regulatory compliancePrepare, reconcile, and validate investor data tapes, loan-level servicing data, and financial records for due diligence reviews, portfolio acquisitions, servicing transfers, investor onboarding, and regulatory reportingManage end-to-end transaction lifecycles, including onboarding, approvals, portfolio transfers, governance documentation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure operational readiness and audit transparencyCoordinate investor, stakeholder, and due diligence requests by providing financial, operational, servicing, and governance documentation while responding to investor, regulatory, rating agency, and audit inquiriesConduct financial modeling, portfolio analysis, data validation, and quantitative reporting to support investment evaluations, lending decisions, transaction approvals, and governance initiativesPartner with Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product Management, Operations, Servicing, Technology, and Sales teams to support investment decisions, transaction execution, and regulatory complianceEnsure compliance with internal and external governance requirements while maintaining audit-ready documentation and regulatory adherenceMonitor transactions, servicing portfolios, operational performance metrics, and due diligence milestones while proactively identifying risks, escalating issues, and driving timely resolutionAnalyze financial, operational, transactional, and servicing data using SQL, advanced Excel, and reporting tools to support investment decisions, identify risks, validate performance, and deliver actionable insightsPerform data mining, data analysis, quality assurance, and exception management across large datasets to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and improve reporting accuracy and data integrityPrepare executive presentations and deliver data-driven insights, transaction updates, portfolio analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholdersPosition Requirements, Capabilities, & SkillsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyAdept at identifying and resolving problems in a timely mannerAdvanced organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskEffective decision-making, customer service and problem-solving skillsAbility to strategize and prioritize efforts to achieve goalsExcellent research and critical thinking skillsGood problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a wide range of peopleAbility to read and interpret published rules and regulationsPositive & professional demeanorSelf-starter with strong organizational skillsHighly organized, consistent, and solutions focusedEmploy a strong sense of urgency and ownership in all activitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence othersStrong understanding of accounting principles and GAAPConsistently meets and exceeds individual, team and department objectivesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree required in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics7+ years of experience in financial analysis, in the mortgage or financial services industryMortgage industry or financial service industry experience strongly preferredMSP experience preferredSQL experience and working with data warehousesReport automation tools a plusUnderstanding of accounting principles and conceptsFamiliarity with Secondary Marketing and Capital markets is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Office capabilitiesExperience with Encompass and MSP preferredWe OfferCompetitive SalaryMedical/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid Holidays401K MatchGenerous PTOFSA/HSA PlansLife /Disability/Accidental Insurance and much more!Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
