Job Summary Senior Linux Systems Administrator The LOE program provides our customer's Operations organization with the best possible solutions for their mission needs. Job Responsibilities Design, maintain, and support operations and maintenance activities of a large enclave comprised of hardware, software, and network components, including server architecture, virtual machines, managed switches, NAS, VLANs, and VPNs. Develop and carry out strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture and technology with minimal impact. Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to agency standard solutions. Perform network administration tasks including installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices, configuring routing protocols, troubleshooting multi‑hop connectivity, throughput, and latency, and setting up firewalls. Maintain secure infrastructure and handle vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, backups, and recovery. Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM. Provide user‑level support, including interacting with system‑savvy developers and analysts, resolving network, computer, and virtual system issues and anomalies. Maintain enclave documentation (network diagram, system names, IP addresses, barcodes, etc.) and provide monthly activity reports including system outages. Deploy and maintain nginx; use system monitoring platforms such as OpenVAS, Prometheus, and Grafana; enforce SELinux and FIPS compliance. Use LatteArt/Biscotti, Netseer, and SEAR logging. Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Experience with Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Ansible, GitLab, RedHat Satellite, and working knowledge of software‑defined networks is desirable. Pay Range $116,350.00 – $210,325.00 (general guideline only; actual compensation may vary).
