How you'll contribute
An Athletic Trainer who excels in this role:
The Certified Athletic trainer is responsible for providing sports medicine services for the prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This position is an outreach position providing coverage to a secondary school. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing onsite care for the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
- Set up referrals of student athletes to appropriate physicians for further evaluation and imaging.
- Implement injury prevention strategies through education, postural and ergonomic coaching, and promoting overall wellness.
- Ensure effective communication with Physicians and coaches regarding the injury status and/or limitations of student athletes.
- Documents patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Performs administrative and other duties as assigned by supervisor

What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
- Must be BOC certified and be eligible to possess state athletic training licensure, certification, or registration (Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification). NPI Number Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
