Job Title: Prep Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as rackers on our paint line. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts for the paint process. This includes utilizing tape and plugs to mask and plug holes on parts that can vary in size and weigh up to 50 pounds. Once prepared, you will lift and rack these parts onto the paint line. After painting, you will unrack, inspect, unmask, unplug, and prepare the parts for packaging.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare parts for the paint line using tape and plugs.
  • Lift and rack parts onto the paint line.
  • Unrack painted parts and conduct visual inspections for accuracy.
  • Unmask and unplug parts, readying them for packaging.
Essential Skills
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in racking or general labor.
  • Ability to consistently lift 30-50 pounds onto the rack.
  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Fridays and rare Saturdays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Stable work history with a solid resume.
  • Good attitude and ability to fit into the company culture.

Work Environment
This position is for the 1st Shift, running from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. The work environment is non-temperature controlled, meaning it can be hot, especially in the summer within the paint department.

This is a Contract position based out of Roseville, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
