As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, monitor access points, and support loss prevention efforts. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established screening procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and surrounding activity; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
