Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will carry out a variety of essential tasks aimed at supporting the mental health of our clients, particularly those aged 18 to 30. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Lead dynamic and supportive group sessions that foster a sense of community among clients, allowing them to share experiences and learn from one another.

  • Providing Individual Therapy: Offer tailored, empathetic counseling that helps clients identify and explore their thoughts and emotions, working together to develop effective coping strategies.

  • Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate closely with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs and goals.

  • Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

  • Coordinating Care: Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, engaging in regular communication and consultation on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, who often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life stressors. These clients are engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), where they receive both evidence-based and holistic treatment approaches tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, along with the necessary licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. Your educational background and training should equip you with a solid understanding of mental health principles and therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While having prior experience in a clinical setting is valuable, we welcome candidates at various stages of their careers who are passionate about helping others. Experience with group therapy and individual counseling, particularly with the young adult demographic, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
