Were looking for a candidate that is able to manage patient care professionally KEEP THE DOCTOR ON TIME on 6-8 patients daily. The ideal candidate will embody strong leadership skills, work independently without supervision, be able to multitask, detail oriented, and has excellent time management skills. Were open to part time or full time candidates. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, uniform allowance, 401k with match and bonus structure Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques. Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring proper technique while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, documenting treatment details accurately. Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering a positive experience. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing medical documentation with Epic or similar systems. Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards to safeguard patients and staff. Assist with medical imaging procedures, including the use of 3D scanners for advanced diagnostics when applicable. Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow efficiency. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment, preferably with exposure to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing patient records efficiently. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality and medical records security. Hands-on experience performing X-ray procedures and utilizing medical imaging tools like 3D scanners. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Ability to interpret medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing processes. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
