Junior Software Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in software engineering, reporting, or technical support.
- Practical exposure to modern development languages and front-end technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, Spring MVC, .NET, Go, React, Angular, CSS, and HTML.
- Develop, update, and improve standard and ad-hoc reports to meet operational and business needs.
- Check data accuracy and completeness across reports and systems.
- Help investigate and resolve report inconsistencies and data-related issues.
- Record report logic, data sources, and usage instructions.
- Support existing web applications with small enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes.
- Assist with routine system upkeep, including monitoring and basic issue resolution.
- Escalate more complex technical problems to senior engineers with clear notes and analysis.
- Write code for existing applications under supervision, following established standards and best practices.
- Support testing efforts, including unit and regression testing.
- Take part in Agile activities such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
