Job Description

Environmental Services Associate I
The Environmental Services Associate I performs essential custodial and sanitation services under the supervision of the Environmental Services Management Team to maintain Henry Ford Health Health locations in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition according to facility standards
Perform routine care and maintenance of assigned equipment to ensure proper functionality and longevity
Utilize supplies and materials efficiently and in accordance with established procedures
Execute a range of custodial duties across multiple locations to maintain sanitation, organization, and operational readiness
Interact professionally with patients and staff in a high-visibility role, maintaining appropriate conduct and demeanor
Deliver consistent, professional customer service aligned with the organization's "Patients First" commitment
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
Custodial experience preferred.
Must be able to interact directly with patient population, job requires high visibility.
Must exhibit consistently high level of customer service and 'Patients First' sensibility.
