Urology Clinic Position

Unit/Department: Urology Clinic

# beds: 6 clinic rooms, 4 procedure rooms

Ratios: 33-40 patients per day, 2 nurses, 1 CST, 1 CNA

Required Certifications: BLS

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: BPH, Hematuria, UTI, LUTS, Frequency, Cystoscopy, Prostate biopsy

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Be able to set up sterile field and assist in procedures, ability to place catheters

Shifts & Scheduling: Daytime hours Monday - Friday vary, staff rotate. 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, 0900-1730

Weekend Requirement: None

Holiday Requirement: None - Clinics are closed during the following Holidays (July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day)

Call or Standby Requirement: No

Floating Requirements: If this is an option, there could be the potential to float to one of the other departments within our specialty clinics. Job duties and functions would remain the same.

Is the pharmacy 24/7? Inpatient pharmacy is 24/7

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs (any color)
