Sales Consultant - Part-Time

Location 6081 - Ft Bend - 21939 Southwest Freeway, Richmond, Texas, 77469 About the Role Driven by the desire to provide an iconic customer experience, the Sales Consultant ensures customers can buy the vehicles they want in a way that suits them. This role requires building relationships with customers, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring smooth transactions. Responsibilities Use your knowledge of CarMax inventory to assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs. Guide customers every step of the way, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications. Complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions for our customers. CarMax pays new Sales Consultants a competitive wage while training and through the first 640 hours of selling, after which commissions become the primary base of pay. Qualifications and Requirements Sales and customer service experience, in an area such as retail, is preferred. Good listening skills and a strong customer focus. High level of self‑motivation.
