This position is designed to be remote, providing flexibility in your work-life balance while allowing you to focus entirely on providing therapeutic services in an outpatient setting. Our outpatient office serves a motivated patient population, with hours designed to fit the needs of our clients, operating daily from 7 am to 10 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center, your role will encompass a range of key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and effectively guide treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building for each patient.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to address individual patient needs.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting healing, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response to patient needs.

• Educating patients and their families on coping mechanisms and available resources for trauma responses.
\n
• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

You will be working primarily with clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma and who seek support to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work towards emotional recovery. Our patient population includes individuals seeking help for trauma-related disorders, and our approach is grounded in compassion, integrity, and individualized care tailored to each person's unique story.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n
