Together, we're improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float Casual to join our team in Overland Park, KS and surrounding areas. Work Schedule: This is a casual/PRN position; hours will be "as needed" but the start and end times will vary from 7am - 6pm. Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Current or Prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards: In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Be at least 21 years' old Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test As a Float Phlebotomist Casual, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.
