CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality machined components using CNC equipment and machining skills. The role involves machine setup, operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining production quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Experience:

CNC, HMC, lathe, or grinding machining experience preferred. Experience in machine setup and operation in a production environment preferred. Experience using precision measuring instruments preferred.

Responsibilities:

Machine and deburr components and manifolds. Set up multiple jobs and operate in a cell manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot minor machining issues and maintain production flow. Maintain production and quality data records. Set up and use center distance and bore gauging equipment. Inspect, disassemble, sharpen, and reassemble broaches and drills. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerances. Operate hoist-operated cranes and lifting equipment safely. Follow verbal and written instructions, blueprints, setup cards, charts, and technical drawings. Select and grind appropriate cutting tools for different materials and operations. Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.

Should Have:

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in written, diagram, or mathematical form. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials.

Skills:

CNC machining operations. Blueprint reading and interpretation. Precision measurement tools usage. Machine setup and troubleshooting. Cutting tool selection and grinding. Manufacturing and production processes. Safety compliance in machining environments.

Qualification And Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
