Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle a variety of personal injury cases in Kentucky, primarily focusing on motor vehicle accidents. The role involves managing cases in pre-litigation, as well as preparing for trial in matters related to other personal injury incidents, such as dog bites and premises liability. Location: Duties: Manage motor vehicle accident cases in litigation Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda Guide clients through the legal process and maintain client communication Coordinate with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances Participate in training programs and seminars outside of regular business hours Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law Member in good standing with the State Bar Association Ability to manage an average of 50+ litigation cases Excellent client service and communication skills Strong writing and oral advocacy skills Self-starter with a focus on long-term career goals Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Skills: Proficient in litigation and trial preparation Strong interpersonal and communication abilities High level of attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload Benefits include 401(k) and 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, flexible schedule and work-from-home options, HSA and FSA, life insurance, referral program, and a competitive salary with base pay + commission structure.
