Overview The registered nurse promotes and restores patient’s health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patient, visitors, and families. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program preferred. Current NY licensure as a Registered Nurse required. BLS upon hire or within 3 months required. ACLS – Within 1 year of hire required. Experience ED – One year of acute clinical experience required. Surgical Services and ICU – Six (6) months of acute clinical experience preferred.
