Cook/Line Server
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking reliable FULL-TIME Cooks for a private school dining hall in Mendota Heights, MN. Join a fantastic team crafting scratch-made menus for a vibrant community that values our daily creations. Our mission is to deliver exceptional dining experiences that delight the senses, inspire minds, and build a strong sense of community.
At SAGE, food and people come first. The teams at each of the schools we serve work together to provide safe, healthy, and varied meals that reflect the tastes and preferences of each community. At the same time, our home office team works together to offer weekly pay, comprehensive year-round benefits, and continuous training.
Please note that this location is not accessible by public transportation.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Weekends or catering events with notice
- Follows the school calendar
- Summers off!
Pay Type:
$20.50 - $21.00 Hourly

What you'll do:
- Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
What you'll need:
- Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
- Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
