Certified Medication Aide (All shifts)

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (All shifts) to join our team at Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton, Kansas, USA. As a PRN Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with medication administration and daily living skills. Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents as directed by the nursing staff, following established protocols and procedures
• Monitor and record resident vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Provide assistance with daily living skills, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transferring residents, as needed
• Observer and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or physical status to the nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely records of medication administration and resident care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Demonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care and a strong sense of empathy and compassion

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of Kansas
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in long-term care or a related field, preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet resident needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
