THE ROLE

Job Summary: TheEmployee Success & SafetyCoordinatoris responsible forcreating and sustaininga safe, engaging, and high-performingwork environment byintegrating EnvironmentalHealth & Safety (EHS), employee onboarding,training, mentoring, engagement, and retention initiatives. This role servesas a keypartner to Operations, Human Resources, andLeadership to ensureemployees not onlywork safely butalso successfully transitioninto productive, confident, and engaged membersof the organization. This position championsa proactive safetyculture while coordinatingstructured onboarding,employee development, andcontinuous improvementprograms that supportoperational excellenceand long-termworkforce success. Responsibilities KeyResponsibilities: Environmental Health & Safety Promote a proactivesafety culture byidentifying workplace hazardsand implementing correctiveand preventive actions. Ensure compliance withOSHA, EPA, andall applicable federal, state, and localenvironmental, health,and safety regulations. Conduct documented safetyinspections, audits, riskassessments, and environmentalevaluations. Investigate workplace incidentsand near missesto determine rootcauses and implementcorrective actions. Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, trainingdocumentation, audits,and incident reports. Develop, coordinate, andfacilitate new hiresafety orientation, annualcompliance training, andspecialized safety programs. Monitor compliance withcompany safety policies, procedures, and safework practices. Support emergency preparednessinitiatives, includingbut not limited to First Aid, CPR, and emergency responseprograms. Partner with departmentleaders to improveworkplace safety andreduce operational risk. Employee Onboarding & Integration Coordinate onboarding fromoffer acceptance throughsuccessful completion ofthe employee's firstyear. Develop and administerstructured onboarding plansfor all newhires. Ensure completion oforientation, safety training, compliance requirements, and departmental introductions. Coordinate facility tours, team introductions, andmentor assignments. Monitor onboarding progressand proactively addressbarriers to employeesuccess. Serve as theprimary resource fornew employees duringtheir transition intothe organization. Training & Workforce Development Develop, implement, andcontinuously improve theorganization's Trainingand Development Program. Coordinate safety, quality, technical, leadership,and job-specifictraining. Maintain employee trainingrecords, certifications, qualification matrices, and development plans. Monitor employee competencyprogression and ensurecompletion of requiredtraining milestones. Collaborate with supervisorsto identify skillgaps and createemployee development plans. Support standardized workinstructions and structuredtraining methodologies. Employee Success, Mentoring& Engagement Coordinate the employeementoring program byassigning mentors andestablishing program expectations. Conduct regular employeeand mentor check-ins throughout thefirst year ofemployment. Build strong relationshipsthat foster employeeengagement and belonging. Conduct stay interviews, employee surveys, andengagement assessments. Identify trends affectingemployee morale, performance, and retention. Recommend improvements toonboarding, training, communication, and employee experienceinitiatives. Retention & PerformanceSupport Facilitate structured 30, 60, 90, 180, and 365-dayemployee progress reviews. Develop and monitoremployee success roadmapsand career developmentplans. Identify employees atrisk of disengagementor turnover andcoordinate interventionplans with supervisors. Assist employees innavigating company resources, career opportunities,and professional development. Leadership & ContinuousImprovement Partner with Operations, Human Resources, andLeadership to developsite-specific employeesuccess and safetystrategies. Lead initiatives thatimprove organizationalculture, employee engagement, and operational performance. Support organizational changemanagement and continuousimprovement initiatives. Build strong cross-functional relationshipsthat promote collaborationand accountability. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety management, Human Resources, OrganizationalLeadership, Business Administration, or a relatedfield, or anequivalent combinationof education andexperience. Experience Minimum of 2–5 years ofexperience in EnvironmentalHealth & Safety, HumanResources, Employee Development, Training, ManufacturingOperations, or arelated field. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Plantenvironment. Keyboarding, sitting, standing, bending, walking.
