Packaging Technician

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

We are seeking a Packaging Technician with pharmaceutical packaging experience to support manufacturing and packaging operations. In this hands-on role, you will operate packaging and filling equipment, complete production documentation, and help maintain quality standards throughout the packaging process. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in accuracy, quality, and teamwork.

• Operate vial filling machines, fabrication equipment, and secondary packaging machinery
• Clean, set up, and prepare manufacturing and packaging equipment for production
• Verify calibration stickers are current and equipment is ready for operation
• Complete batch records, logbooks, and production documentation accurately
• Palletize finished products and transport materials as needed
• Track and document equipment downtime accurately
• Communicate quality, component, and machine performance issues to production teams
• Assist with shift-to-shift communication regarding production status and equipment performance

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience required
• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday
• Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing gowning environment
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing practices

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
