Who You Are:

As a Paratransit Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our vehicles, providing reliable, friendly and efficient transportation for seniors and disabled members of our community

Driver Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work any schedule - we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Full time only - we do not hire for part time.
• Must have a California driver's license and been licensed in the US for a minimum of two (2) years.
• Must be able to assist passengers including those who use walkers, wheelchairs, and/or other mobility devices on and off the vehicle.
• Must be able to transport passengers with disabilities including providing door to door service when required.
• Must be able to transport riders who travel with service animals.
• Must be able to safely and professionally manage conflict and/or difficult situations involving passengers.
• Must be able to accept and accurately record passenger fares including cash, tickets, passes, and transfers.
• Must maintain a valid driver license and all other required credentials, certifications, and qualifications.

Starting Pay Rate: $21.75/hour training rate
