Director - ISG Equity Operations

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director in ISG Equity Operations to lead a team responsible for complex operational processes, drive automation and innovation, and deliver first class service to our Prime Brokerage clients.In the Operations division, we partner with clients and business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. Read on…What you'll do in the role:Serve as the primary supervisor within specific line or project area with accountability to associated risksManage direct reports, leading 1:1s and career development, attracting and retaining high quality talent in line with our leadership commitmentsCollaborate with global operations teams to ensure adequate coverage to deliver BAU commitments, highlighting current and future needs to managerShare expert knowledge across the team, contributing to team output and ensuring diverse viewpoints are heardBuild relationships with business unit partners, other Morgan Stanley infrastructure departments, and external contact points at our clientsDrive automation and innovation within operational processesWhat you'll bring to the role:Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, experience with adapting management style to suit individuals and ensure team is well supported with a sense of purposeThe ability to understand, interpret, and map complicated process flows. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
