Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and establish the new Internal Medicine department, including protocols and procedures.
• Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions in a diverse caseload.
• Collaborate with our team of specialists and emergency veterinarians to deliver comprehensive care.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Lead and participate in ongoing training and development for the surgical team.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (or board-eligible) preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in a specialty or emergency setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Innovative mindset with strong analytical skills to assess complex cases and develop innovative treatment options including new technologies or procedures that enhance patient care.
• Openness to exploring new approaches in veterinary medicine, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
