Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments for neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU.
• Collaborate with NICU staff and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct specialized procedures such as bronchoscopy and extubation as needed.
• Assess and document patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, respiratory care protocols, and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous education to maintain skills and knowledge in respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a license to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or pediatric critical care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
• Experience with Epic systems preferred.
• Proven skills in managing neonatal and infant patients.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills needed for interdisciplinary teamwork.
