Certifications: Board certification/eligibility based on education and specialty. Valid DEA in applicable state. BLS or ACLS upon hire in an acute care hospital. BLS or ACLS within 90 days of hire in an ambulatory clinic.
Must-Have: OB GYN Procedures


Description:
Function independently to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative and patient-centric manner.
Care may occur in various settings and modalities, including direct interaction with patients, telephone, video, or secure email when appropriate.
Gather history from the patient and others, conduct physical exams, review prior records, and analyze ancillary data using sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.
Develop and monitor appropriate treatment plans, effectively communicate with patients and families when suitable, and collaborate with the care team.
Provide efficient and compassionate care for patients and their families utilizing a multidisciplinary approach through communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation.
Deliver relevant education and counseling to patients and families to support care plans, treatments, and discharges.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure safe patient care.
Communicate pertinent findings and information to the physician and team.
Assist with the management of patients consistent with care site policies, regulations, and approved scope of practice.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics.
Document in accordance with regulatory and care site guidelines.
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
May be required to float to other departments based on business needs and may be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
