Thompson Fabrication, a steel fabrication and manufacturing shop, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Painter Helper job opening. Thompson Fabricating has been providing high quality containers to the waste industry for 30 years.
We are looking for a Painter Helper to clean steel roll off containers prior to our painting process. This will include removing excess weld splatter and weld impurities with an angle grinder and grinding all sharp corners. Also, washing containers with a phosphate pressure washing system to remove dirt, oil, grease, etc. and removing all excess cleaning solutions with a high-pressure air hose.
Qualifications:- Ability to use a 4" grinder with wire wheel or flat disc
- Ability to work in a Team environment
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to lift & carry up to 65 #
- • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, etc.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
