As the exclusive Steelcase dealer in the region, Perdue provides products and turnkey services you won't find anywhere else in North Florida.Oversee the safe and effective delivery of all production activities related to furniture, delivery, installation, warehouse and reconfiguration services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise and provide on-site job inspections of delivery installations and reconfigurationsAssist with expanding product offeringsManage operating expenses in line with operating revenues to ensure appropriate profit margin and financial performanceParticipate in monthly financial review to identify trends and opportunities for financial improvementWork with agency ASR to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place to ensure a safe production environment and ensure compliance with all OSHA and DOT requirements throughout the service operationJob Skills Required:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read detailed furniture installation plans, drawings and bill of materialsHighly customer service orientedAbility to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workdayAbility to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize workStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow throughAbility to work under deadlines and specific time framesAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersAbility to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervisionQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or five to seven years related experience and/or training in office moving land installation and furniture planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Ability:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
