Medical Solutions will prescreen, Auto Offer off of Prescreen Reccomendation Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. **COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation). ***Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts). **There will be a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field. Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please make sure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques. - Unit: D4 Neuro - # beds: 28 bed - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1:3-4 - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role. - Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients. - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. - Scrub Color: Navy - Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs. - Vents: No - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night. - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7. - Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA. - Additional Notes: No ICP monitoring.
